This year Boca Hoops started the $5 for FIVE. Donations of $5.00 or more was collected from all our Boca Hoops Coaches and all the Boca Hoops Referees for our High Five Program, the basketball division for our special needs athletes. This program was started in 2003 from the idea and guidance of Gary Cohen, a longtime volunteer of Boca Hoops. This year the Boca Hoops coaches and the referees donated over $1000.00. To these generous individuals we say, “Thank you!”. To Gary Cohen and the volunteer coaches and the B-Ball Buddies of High Five Basketball, we say “Thank you!”.
